The History & Staff of Honey Brook Outdoor Power
Although we have changed ownership and are sporting a new name, we are still the same "Dependable Motor Company" we have always been, but now with the benefit of additional manpower. Located at 4270 Horseshoe Pike Honey Brook Outdoor Power, LLC is owned and operated by Steven Fisher who purchased the company from Steve and Wilma Koser in 2021. Previously, Steve and Wilma owned the business since 2007. Together, they bring an unmatched collection of knowledge and experience to the business in order to best serve our customers in both sales and repairs. We have been proudly serving Southeastern PA for the last 60 years with a proven track record of dependability that is difficult to match in today's constantly changing marketplace.
Our collective goal is to break away from the modern philosophy of "Sell, sell, sell!!", and instead, focus on a "service first" model. By being service minded, and building relationships with our customers, we are essentially taking all of the benefits of the old school business practices of the past, and combining them with the products and technology of the future. Although this is not a popular way to do business anymore, it is also very rare to see a company that has had such a longstanding relationship with its surrounding community, and that is a tradition worth preserving. We believe there is a market of people who appreciate this traditional approach to business, and they deserve good service, fast supplies, and no pressure sales, from a reliable and trustworthy company.

Steve Koser
Meet Steve. Here is a guy with a whopping 38 years of experience in the industry. It all began at New Holland Farm Equipment at the fresh young age of 17, where he worked on hay balers. He has been an owner for 8 years and finds job satisfaction in helping customers meet their needs. You may be interested to know that this man who is so well versed in lawn equipment prefers the Simplicity brand mower, and that is what he uses at his own home. When he's not plugging away at work helping other people find their perfect mower, he is probably out looking for an antique John Deere tractor to add to his collection or carbing it up with plate of mashed potatoes and gravy with a side of buttered noodles. You've gotta stoke the fire to keep those customers happy!
Gene Stoltzfus
For those who don't already know him, Meet Gene. You probably won't find too many people who have been in this business longer than him. He began his career 46 years ago and had his very first experience working on 2 tractors in high school AG shop at the age of 16. Gene was the original owner who started the business and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Currently, he is fully in charge of sales and continues to work full time as he has here since 1969. Steve has said, "Gene is the heart and soul of this business." If you are somebody who isn't sure what you're looking for, Gene is your guy. Like Steve, Gene also prefers Simplicity Brand mowers for his own personal use. Gene stays in tip-top condition by enjoying some of his favorite activities which include Snow-mobile riding, boating and partaking in some good shrimp. Just like his successors, Gene is a guy you can trust with all of your Outdoor Power needs.
Wilma Koser
Finally, meet Wilma. If you decide to give us a call, you will most likely hear her pleasant voice because she is the friendly and helpful lady answering the phone!
Evan Mellott
Meet our digital marketing manager! Evan's responsibilities include updating, maintaining, and creating content for our website as well as our social media accounts. Evan likes to keep busy with all things tech and digital. He has been immersed in the world of digital marketing since 2011. Getting his start with two non-profits Across America for Wounded Heroes and The Waterloo Boys of Southeastern, PA.
In addition to his duties for Honey Brook Outdoor Power. He also serves as a Sr. SEO Specialist with an online restaurant supply leader the WebstaurantStore in Lititz, PA. Evan is also the social media marketing manager for Doorstep Dairy, a farm to table home delivery service based in Terre Hill, PA.
